Wines of France study
To more than 88% of Canadians, consuming wine represents a unique tasting experience while also sharing a special moment with family and friends. This is what a recent study, titled “The Wine Market and the Perception of Wines from France in Canada” reveals. The study, commissioned by Sopexa Canada for Wines of France and the French Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, was conducted by CROP, a Canadian marketing research company. The study gave consumers from the 4 major markets in Canada – Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia, the opportunity to reaffirm that French wines continue to be among the most preferred wines in Canada.
